Mental health problems

Mental health involves a wide range of problems ranging from relatively mild conditions to severe mental illness. Mental illness is very common and this means that at some point in their life most people will experience, or have family or friends who experience mental illness.

Where to go for help and information

There are a number of organisations in the city who can provide information, support and advice to anyone with a physical disability, their families or carers.

For further details or enquiries you can email: AdultDirectorate@ssd.sunderland.gov.uk or telephone us on 0191 520 5555.
