This unit is a centre for HIV treatment, linking with community based services offering treatments and comprehensive care.

The Department of Genito-Urinary Medicine provides full sexual health screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases. This includes HIV counselling, testing and support.

The clinic also provides advice on safe sex, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and condoms for those attending. Health promotion sessions are carried out in schools, colleges, youth groups and other organisations.

The Drug and Alcohol Team provides a range of specialist services through a clinical team, opiate clinic, day unit and exchange plus education/training. The exchange includes a provision of pre and post test counselling, HIV testing and Hepatitis B immunisation.
