We will assess
your needs and arrange whatever services are necessary. Health, Housing and Adult Services has developed links with many voluntary organisations
in the city who help to support and care for potentially vulnerable people. These range from
locally-based national organisations to specific interest groups. Another way that vulnerable people will be supported to live independently in Sunderland is through the Supporting People programme. The programme promotes housing-related services, which are cost effective, reliable and complement existing care services. If you want to know more... Health, Housing and Adult Services Starting Point is an information and
signposting service. It is an on-line signposting facility which is
designed to give people in the city up to date information on the services
and support available to help them maintain an active, independent and
